27 x 23 framed print is signed but not numbered.
Gertrude Polk Brown Albrecht was one of the three most important people 9n the history of the CKCSC, USA, along with the founder of the Club, her sister-in-law, Sally Brown and Elizabeth Spalding. Trudy came into the Club very early on at the urging of Sally and remained thoroughly
committed to it until her death in 1983. She commissioned this beautiful picture of three of her dogs the famous American artist, Charles Frace in the 1970's; it was available in April 1976.
Of the edition, 250 were signed and numbered to benefit the CKCSC.
Sutherland was the name of Trudy and Garvin's magnificent home in Prospect Kentucky which sat on 250 acres on the banks of the Ohio River. Sutherland was a working cattle farm where Champion Shorthorns were proudly raised and shown. Sutherland was also Trudy's kennel name. |
