Cavalier Health Foundation Information


The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel U.S.A. Health Foundation, Inc was organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes to promote the health and well being of dogs, specifically Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

The Foundation supports education and research related to the history, character, care, breeding, genetics and health problems of Cavaliers.

Categories currently considered for funding:
    • mitral valve disease;
    • syringohydromyelia;
    • other cardiac or neurologic diseases prevalent in Cavaliers;
    • geographic retinal dysplasia;
    • breeding guidelines and practices; and
    • educational projects.



The funding of research is possible because of tax deductible dues and contributions.


All contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
